With the global headers and footers you can, for example, adjust navigations / menus on all subpages at the same time.

Edit Navigation

If you design your page starting from a template, you already have a global navigation in your header. General information about navigation can be found in this article.

💡 The header of a website contains key elements such as the logo of the company or website, the main navigation bar with links to different sections of the website, contact information and often search functions.

Include a Website Header:

Step 1:

  • Navigate to the Landing Page Editor.

  • First drag the Navigation component to the top position of your page and fill it with the appropriate components Link, Dropdown and Language Switch for your menu and edit the settings on the left side of the editor and set the necessary links.

Step 2:

  • Then select the component in the layers and click the Create Reference button in the dropdown.

  • Now the header component is saved as a reference and can be installed on any subpage.
💡 Changes to the header component are automatically applied to all subpages.

Use a Pre-made Layout as a Header:

Step 1:

  • Navigate to the Landing Page Editor.

  • Click on Layouts within the left-handed menu.

  • Drag the desired header layout to the top position of your page and edit the settings on the left side of the editor and set the necessary links.
💡 Of course, you can adjust and add to the prefabricated layout, just like any other section, after installation.

Step 2:

  • Then select the component in the layers and click the Create Reference button in the dropdown.

  • Now the header component is saved as a reference and can be installed on every subpage.
💡 Changes to the header component are automatically applied to all subpages.

Use a Single Page Application (SPA) Header:

Step 1:

  • Navitate to the Landing Page Editor.

  • First drag the Header (SPA) component to the top position of your page, fill it with the Navigation component and then add the appropriate Link, Dropdown and Language Switch components.

  • Edit the settings on the left side of the editor as you like and set the necessary links.

Step 2:

  • Then select the component in the layers and click the Create Reference button in the dropdown.

  • Now the header component is saved as a reference and can be installed on every subpage.
💡 Changes to the header component are automatically applied to all subpages.

Create Global Footer

  • First, drag the Footer (SPA) component into your page.

  • Then select the component in the layers and click the Create reference button in the dropdown.

  • Now the Footer component is saved as a reference and can be installed on every subpage. Changes to the Footer component are automatically applied to all subpages.

The footer usually contains information that remains consistent throughout the website, such as the masthead, privacy policy, terms of use, contact information, and often links to important pages like “About Us” or “Frequently Asked Questions.”
