WooCommerce Integration

Set up the JUNE WooCommerce plugin for newsletter signups at checkout and transfer ecommerce data to JUNE.

Verfasst von Anni Wild

The WooCommerce plugin by JUNE adds a newsletter checkbox at checkout, allowing customers to sign up for a newsletter list.

The plugin is not required for transferring ecommerce data, but this article also shows how to set up that connection.

Installing the Plugin

  1. Log into your WordPress admin.

  2. In the left sidebar under Plugins, click Add New.

  3. Click Upload Plugin at the top left, select the JUNE plugin ZIP file, and click Install Now.

  4. To complete the process, click Activate Plugin so the plugin can be used.

Configuring the Plugin

The plugin settings can be found in the left sidebar under Settings at JUNE for WooCommerce.

In the JUNE Newsletter Collect Token field, enter the Collect Token from your e-commerce list in JUNE. You can find this token in the list under the API tab.

Transferring Ecommerce Data

In the WooCommerce settings in the left sidebar, go to the Advanced tab and under Webhooks add a new webhook.

Creating a Webhook

  1. The webhook name can be chosen freely and does not affect data transfer.

  2. The webhook status must be set to Active.

  3. The topic is the WooCommerce event that triggers data to be sent to JUNE. To send ecommerce data, select Order created.

  4. Create a Commerce Token in JUNE: You can find the Commerce Token in your list under the E-Commerce Settings tab. If no token has been created yet, click Add Provider to create a new one. Select WooCommerce as the provider, confirm, and then paste the token into WooCommerce.

  5. The delivery URL consists of:
https://engagement.juneapp.com/commerce/webhook/ + the JUNE commerce token created in step 4.

  6. The other fields don't need to be adjusted and the webhook can be saved.
