Productive Working in Reduced Lite Mode

The Lite modes in JUNE are implemented through special roles: Editor_Lite and Campaign_Lite. These roles allow users to use JUNE in a simplified mode with limited functionality.

They are ideal for:

  • Introduce new users to the platform gradually.

  • Enable users who do not need the full range of functions to work more efficiently and securely.

  • Establish a two-level model in which one user group (Level 2) designs professional templates and another user group (Level 1) customizes and sends them.
    πŸ’‘ Example:
In a franchise system, templates are provided centrally, while branches only make minor adjustments.

Advantages of the Lite Roles

The use of Lite roles ensures that each team member is assigned the appropriate functions, allowing them to focus on the tasks relevant to them and thus ensuring more efficient work.

  • Secure workflow: Limiting the range of functions reduces the risk of unintended changes to complex structures.

  • Increased efficiency: Users only see the functions they need for their specific task.

  • Optimal teamwork: Perfect for scenarios in which central teams create templates and local teams make final adjustments, ensuring optimal teamwork.

Editor_Lite: Focused Content Customization

The Editor_Lite role is intended for users who need to customize content in landing pages or email templates without having access to comprehensive design or component management.

Accessible and Restricted Areas in the Editor

In the editor, users with the Editor_Lite role have access to the most important content management functions, while in-depth design and code options remain hidden:

Editing Content

In the draft, Editor Lite users can select and customize components within a section.

  • Possible content adjustments: Text, images, colors, and spacing.

  • Scope of adjustments: The scope of possible adjustments is determined by the additionally assigned skill level (1-3).

πŸ’‘ Note on Skill Levels:
The assigned skill level (1-3) affects the editing options for the components. More extensive and complex functions are unlocked with higher skill levels. You can find a detailed overview here:
