Depending on the activity and competencies of the individual team members, different roles, skill levels and modules can be assigned. Thus, employees have access to the functions that suit them. The correct distribution of roles, skill levels and modules ensures optimal teamwork.

Roles

At least one role can be assigned to each team member. This ensures that each person gets the functions that are relevant to them – especially useful if you are working with freelancers. Here, for example, a translator would only be assigned content-based functions and no coding options.

Assign roles

  1. Click on Administration in the left sidebar.

  2. Go to Users in the top bar.

  3. To assign roles, either add a new user or click on an existing user.

  4. Under Roles you can now assign at least one role per user.

  5. Finally, hit Save.

Skill Level

Optionally, each team member can be assigned a skill level based on their competencies. There are three levels in total. Extensive and complex functions, for example, are unlocked with the highest skill level.

Assign Skill Level

  1. Click on Administration in the left sidebar.

  2. Go to Users in the top bar.

  3. To assign skill levels, either add a new user or click on an existing user.

  4. Under Skill Level, you can choose one of three levels per user.

  5. Hit Save.

Modules

It is also possible to decide whether a user should have access to all three modules (email editor, landing pages editor, campaigns). For example, if a user is only allowed to edit newsletter templates, it is possible to enable only the email editor in his account.

Assign modules

  1. Go to the Administration in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on Users in the top bar.

  3. To assign modules, either add a new user or click on an existing user.

  4. In the menu that appears under Modules, select the appropriate modules per user.

💡 Example: An experienced editor gets access to the Email and Landing Pages Editor with the highest skill level and the role “Editor”.
