The Segment Overview brings together all your target audiences from across the entire project in one convenient, centralized location. It serves as a project-wide control center that allows you to efficiently manage your various filters and target audiences without having to click through each database individually.
Here's how to access the segment overview
Open the main menu in the left sidebar.
Navigate to the Data Platform section.
Click on the Segments submenu.
💡 Direct links (deep links): The segment overview has its own unique URL (known as a deep link). You can easily bookmark this page in your browser or send the link directly to team members to share a specific view.
An overview of the features
The interface is designed so that you can quickly find your filter groups, customize their appearance, and access them directly.
1. Cross-database sorting
On this page, your segments are automatically grouped by database. This allows you to see at a glance which filters are active for each of your customer groups.
2. Flexible View Mode (List vs. Cards)
You can customize the overview display to suit your workflow at any time. In the top-right corner of the menu bar, you can switch between two modes:
Card View: Displays your segments as tiles—ideal for a quick, visual overview.
List View: Displays the segments as a compact table—ideal for structured management when dealing with a large number of target groups.
3. Advanced search function
To find a specific segment without having to scroll through a long list, there is a search bar at the top of the page. As soon as you enter the segment's name, the system filters the results in real time.
4. Jump directly to the data ("View segment")
If you want to see the contacts currently included in a segment, simply click "View Segment" next to the relevant item.
The system will then automatically redirect you to the list view of the corresponding database. The selected segment is already set as the filter and is active, so you can continue working with the relevant contacts right away.
Create a new segment from the overview
You can start a new segment in the database, that you wish to use the new segment in:
Go to your database. Data Platform > [choose database]
Click on Select Segmentation
Click the + Icon to add segmentation
