You can upload images, videos and GIFs and browse through license-free stock images

You find the media section in the email editor in the left sidebar. Here you can upload your desktop images, videos & GIFs in any format. In the editor, you can also crop and edit your uploaded images.

Upload Images, Videos & GIFs

  1. Click on Media in the left sidebar.

  2. Press the big + or drag and drop an image file directly into the pop-up.

  3. Select a file from your desktop.

  4. Your uploaded file will now be displayed next to or below the +.

  5. Optionally, click on the image to add tags to easily find the image.

  6. Drag the image or video into an image element like a component.


💡 You can also add an image file via an image component. To do this, click Media in the component settings.

💡 By clicking on the edit icon shown below, which appears when hovering over Media, the applied image can be edited afterwards within JUNE.


Use Images Directly From Your Desktop Or Browser

To speed up your work in the editor, you don't have to upload your images to the Media Gallery. Instead, you can drop image files from the desktop or browser directly into an Image component.

This feature is especially useful for working quickly and keeping the Media Gallery organized.

☝🏼 Note: The image used will not be saved in the media gallery. This means that your colleagues cannot access the image, so this function is useful if you do not want to use the image again in the future.


Use license-free stock images

  1. Click Media in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on the Unsplash or Pexels icons in the top menu.

  3. Here you will see a lot of license-free images that you are allowed to use.

  4. Click Edit Filter and enter any keyword to refine your search.

  5. Drag an image like a component into an image element.


Edit images

  1. Go to your email template.

  2. Select an image component and drag a desired image into it.

  3. Click on the image element to open the component settings.

  4. On the left side of the editor – under Media – the image will be displayed: Hover over the image and click on the pencil icon.

  5. A menu will open allowing you to edit the image.

    • Filter: Use predefined filters to adjust the color of the image.

    • Resize: Change the size of the image

    • Crop: Crop the image according to a certain format

    • Transform: Rotate or flip the image

    • Draw: Paint free shapes on the image

    • Text: Add a text field

    • Shapes: Add one of the predefined shapes

    • Stickers: Add a sticker/emoji to your image

    • Frame: Add a frame to your image

    • Corners: Round off the corners of your image

    • Background: Add a background color to your transparent image

  6. Then press Apply and Save.
