  • Formatting Sender Data

To avoid having to manually enter sender data for every new Campaign, you can store default values in JUNE. These are defined per Project and Database.

Prerequisite:
To make these settings, you need the Admin role in your JUNE account.

Functionality of Default Values

When you create a new Email Campaign and select the corresponding Project as well as the connected Database, JUNE checks if standard values are stored for this. If so, the fields Send from and Reply to are automatically pre-filled.

Note: The pre-filled information can be edited in the Campaign itself at any time. You are merely setting a standard here that does the work for you, but does not restrict you.

Setup in Administration

Proceed as follows to configure the default values:

  1. Click on Administration in the left sidebar.

  2. Select the Integrations tab in the top menu.

  3. Click on the Add button in the top right.

  4. Select the Send Email option in the modal that opens.

Configuration of Values

Now fill out the fields in the configuration window:

  • Name & Description: These fields are only for your internal organization and traceability. They are not displayed to the recipient of your Emails.

  • Project & Database: Select here for which Project and which Database these default values should apply.

  • Sender information: Here you define who is displayed as the sender (Mail from) and to whom answers are sent (Email Reply To).

Important: The Correct Format

To ensure the name and the email address are correctly recognized and displayed cleanly in email clients (like Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail), you must adhere to a specific format.

Please always enter the information in this schema: Display Name <example@email.com>

Example: If your Emails should come from the "JUNE Team" and the address is "info@juneapp.com", enter the following:

JUNE Team <info@juneapp.com>

Finally, click on Save.
Your future Campaigns in this Project in connection with the selected Database will now automatically access this information.
